This blog aims to analyse video game cut-scenes from the perspective of cinematic analysis, with the same emphasis upon camera angles, narrative devices, diegetic sound and so on and so forth. In addition to this, essays on theme, structure, and the ongoing debates regarding video games as art, and vs cinema, may also be included. There may occasionally be video game recommendations, or suggestions and reviews, as and when I play them.

This blog is not spoiler free and I will not take responsibility for any spoiled endings – I always suggest playing the games before spoiling the endings, in order to deepen the experience.
